The Gainsborough Amateur Operatic Society is well under way with rehearsals for Jack and the Beanstalk at the Trinity Arts Centre.

Jack Dandelion is in love with squire’s daughter Alice, but until his mum Dame Dandelion can clear her debts there’s no chance the Squire will give his blessing.

When the squire calls in the broker’s men Dame Dandelion is forced to sell her precious cow Buttercup. With Witch Furosia and Fairy Greenbean fighting over the tale, chaos ensues and a magic beanstalk takes Jack, Alice and his mum on an adventure to the castle of a Giant. Will good win over evil? And will Jack marry his beloved Alice?

Featuring a fabulous live band, Jack and the Beanstalk will be a magical treat filled with song, dance and audience participation.
