Marie Curie Cancer Care is asking people to hold a Blooming Great Tea Party to help raise funds for the charity. It can be a cuppa with colleagues or garden party with friends, and the money raised will help provide free care to terminal ill people in their own homes.
Local fundraiser Dawn Broomfield said: “A Blooming Great Tea Party is a way to get together and raise funds for a good cause.”
The charity is starting a fundraising group in Gainsborough, with the first meeting tonight at 7pm at Morton Village Hall. Visit www.mariecurie.org.uk/teaparty or call 08700 340 040.
