EXCITEMENT is building up at Marton Primary School as their new community garden begins to take shape.

Headteacher Richard Stocks said that, once completed, the National Lottery funded garden will be beneficial for the whole community.

“We wanted to strengthen our community links in Marton and make the most of the space and bring us all together,” he said. “Members of the community will be able to use it at certain times and the children will benefit from the outside space where we’ll have an outdoor classroom, a sensory garden and a fruit and vegetable area which the children and people of Marton can maintain.”

“Everybody can help shape it.”
