Have a hoot at Trinity Arts

the HILARIOUS Hoot Comedy Club is celebrating its fourth birthday at Gainsborough’s Trinity Arts Centre with a side-splitting line up.

Elis James will be headlining event with appearances from Scott Bennett and regular compere and local favourite Elliot J Huntley.

Cardiff-based Elis James began his comedy career in 2005.

A bilingual stand-up who can perform in English or Welsh, he won the Best Comedy prize at the National Student Radio Awards in 2006.

Time Out Magazine said: “He hypnotises the audience into living him.”

“There’s also a laugh every ten seconds or so which overall makes it a complete joy.”

Scott Bennett is an up-and-coming comedian who has been wowing audiences around the country. He has been descrobed as an “extremely talented and justifiably confident new performer with a neat line in sardonic observational patter worthy of a seasoned opening act.”

The Hoot Comedy Club returns to the Trinity Arts Centre on Thursday 21st April at 8pm.
