Supporters of a Dinnington charity will be braving the slime of a gunge tank next week.

A total of 13 supporters of Safe@Last will be gunged in the tank as part of a carnival day at the Don Valley Stadium on Sunday 11th March.

The willing victims of the dreaded slime have been recruited from the local offices of HSBC, RBS/Lombards and Highlander IT Solutions, together with several Miss South Yorkshire finalists and Sheffield Eagles player Dane McDonald. They are collecting sponsorship and will be collecting donations on the day.

The event has been arranged by the Sheffield Eagles to celebrate the start of the new rugby league season.
