Gainsborough man who stole £978 in cash dodges jail sentence
A Gainsborough man has a prison sentence hanging over him after stealing £978.45 in cash from another man.
Matthew Waddell, aged 39, of Hemswell Cliff, pleaded guilty to the theft when he appeared at Lincoln Magistrates’ Court.
He was sentenced to 26 weeks’ imprisonment suspended for a year, and ordered to pay £85 costs.
