An internationally renowned organist will be returned to Gainsborough next month.
Dr Carol Williams, the civic organist in San Diego, will be performing at the United Reformed Church on Friday 1st November, at 7.30pm.
Dr Williams has given concerts and recitals all over the world, playing in many famous cathedrals and popular concert halls.
She is famous for her own arrangements of music by celebrated composers of both classical and light popular music.
During the 1st November event, she will perform a very varied programme of light well-known classical pieces, including the Dambusters March, Sousa Marches and Widor’s Toccata.
The organ at the United Reformed Church is one of the best examples of church organs in Lincolnshire.
