David Titley, 34, of Waterworks Street, Gainsborough. Stole a fleece jacket, to the value of £18, belonging to a Tesco supermarket.Discharged conditionally for six months. Also ordered to pay a criminal courts charge of £150 and a victim surcharge of £15.

Artur Kosik, 39, of Rookery Lane, Lincoln. Stole suncream products, to the value of £23, belonging to Boots PLC. Committed to prison for one month. Also ordered to pay a criminal courts charge of £520 and a victim surcharge of £80.

BREACH

Steve Bounds. 65, of Yarborough Road, Lincoln. Sent a letter to a woman bwhen prohibited from doing so by a restraining order. Committed to prison for eight weeks. Also ordered to pay a criminal courts charge of£180 and a victim surcharge of £80.

MOTORING

Brian Hewitt, 32, of Riby Road, Market Rasen. Being the driver of a car, failed to stop when damage was caused to an animal in the road, namely a horse. Fined £125. Driving record endorsed with eight points. Also ordered to pay £650 in court costs and a victim surcharge of £20.

Jan Bogusz, 60, of Waddingworth Grove, Lincoln. Being the driver of a car, failed to stop when an accident was caused whereby damage was sustained to another vehicle. Driving record endorsed with five points. Fined £440. Also ordered to pay a criminal courts charge of £520, court costs of £200 and a £44 victim surcharge.

Shane Peet, 30, of Beaufort Street, Gainsborough. Drove without insurance. Driving record endorsed with six points. Fined £660. Must pay costs of £85.

ASSAULT

Marie Machin, 41, of Longdales Road, Lincoln. Assaulted a woman by beating her. Discharged conditionally for 18 months. Also ordered to pay a crimimal courts charge of £150, court costs of £200 and a victim surcharge of £15.
