Gainsborough swim school Puddle Ducks has announced its renewed sponsorship of butterfly swimmer Tilly Gray who recently competed for England at the 2014 Commonwealth Games.

Puddle Ducks teach babies and children to be safe and have fun in water classes at 10 pools across the region, nurturing water confidence and swimming skills through their carefully structured classes.

They now teach around 500 children every week and Tilly has become committed in encouraging would-be swimmers to hit the pool.

Nicola Wilson, owner of Puddle Ducks Newark and Lincolnshire, commented: “When we had the opportunity to support a rising star in British swimming, we jumped at the chance.”

“Our classes are about nurturing youngsters in the pool and encourage a love of swimming for life, with the hope that some may even go on to swim competitively.”

“As a group of franchisees we wanted to take this one step further by supporting Tilly, a wonderful individual on her quest to be the best she can be in her sport and for her country.“

Tilly said: “I’m honoured to be Puddle Ducks’ Ambassador as I care deeply about children learning to swim and I love being part of such a fantastic swim school.”

“It gives me great satisfaction to know that I am inspiring the next generation of swimmers.”
