EMERGENCY services were called to a blaze at Laughton Forest, near Gainsborough at 7.50pm on Tuesday 5th July.

A spokesman for Lincs Fire and Rescue said the fire was caused by a discarded cigarette. About 50 square metres of shrub land was destroyed in the blaze.

Crews spent the night tackling the blaze at left the scene at 11am the next day.
