DINNINGTON and Anston schools pupils got a taste of the Olympics when a special torch arrived at the school.

The Flame of Learning visited all of Dinnington Comprehensive’s feeder schools to get youngsters into the spirit of the Olympics.

The torch was taken around the schools by sports ambassadors from Dinnington Comprehensive, with the aim of giving as many pupils as possible the chance to do run with the torch around their playground.

The torch has been designed by children at the Thrybergh School and Sports College.
