Cabinet Member for Culture and Tourism, Coun Amy Rushforth, said: “The Active Always programme has been a fantastic success since it first started and we want to share that success.”

“We’re hoping to attract over 200 people aged over 50 to this fantastic event, with the intention to show what Active Always can do for them.”

“There will be a display of all activities currently involved within the programme, which cater for a wide range of preferences and abilities.”

“Taster sessions will also be available during the event for everyone to take part in, and rehabilitation services are invited to bring their patients to the event so that they can see what is offered in the community.”

“Hopefully, we will be welcoming as many people as possible to the event and starting them on the same path that so many others have taken since Active Always became a reality.”
