Already the interest has been very positive from a significant number of societies who are coming to the meeting.

Chairman of Everton Players, David Bardsley, said “Many people are members of more than one drama society and Acting Together is an exciting way to develop more opportunities for these members by creating an informal network of support for each other. “

“We look forward to meeting other like-minded societies to discuss the way forward”.

One of the organisers, Jan Bailey added “Sometimes village societies want to put on a particular play but are short of a cast member, can’t get hold of a certain prop or even need a new director.”

“This is where we believe Acting Together may play a part”.

For more information contact Linda Larder at the Everton Players who said:“All village societies are welcome to join us for a cream tea at 3pm at Everton village hall to discuss this.
