Enjoy Snow White with a Touch of Class
A Touch of Class present their 20th Anniversary Production of Snow White and and the Gang of Seven at Sturton by Stow Village Hall G130108-3a
FAIRY TALE magic returns to Sturton by Stow this month as A Touch of Class are back to present their annual pantomime - but this time, with a twist.
This year, they are celebrating their 20th anniversary with a production of Snow White.
“When we started we had no scenery or lighting and the costumes were largely from jumble sales and charity shops,” said Sue Leonard, from A Touch of Class. “Now, after 20 years we have our own scenery, lights, costumes, technical equipment and sound system as each year we go from strength to strength.”
A Touch of Class was formed by a group of ladies who shared an interest in drama and the performing arts - restricting their membership to only 15 as they met in each others houses to read plays, sketches, monologues and more.
Now, to mark their long-lasting success, A Touch of Class present Snow White - with a twist.

“It’s about a group of seven husbands who have run away from their nagging wives,” said Sue.
“We are joined by Justin Hessey, who is a drag artiste in the Lincoln area, as the magnificent Dame Hetty Humperdink.”
The play also stars Chris Elktington as Dim, Keith Mellor as Wit and Kath Harvey as Snow White.
Sue continued: “All of our pantomime scripts are original and for many years have been written by myself and fellow member Joyce Newth. We are very lucky to have such a talented cast - some of whom are in their very fist production!”
A Touch of Class presents their 20th anniversary production of Snow White on Friday 25th January at 7.30pm and Saturday 26th January at 2pm and 7.30pm at Sturton-by-Stow Village Hall. Tickets are £5 for adults and kids under five free. Call 01427 788554.
