The Conservative Party have won the overwhelming majority in most West Lindsey seats in the Lincolnshire County Council elections - but UKIP made great gains in the county.

The full results of the Lincolnshire County Council elections for the West Lindsey area area:

- North Wolds: TURNER, T, Conservative 54.4 per cent, (1053), down 14.5 per cent HELD

- Market Rasen Wolds: KEIMACH, B, Conservative, 31.7 per cent (573), down 19.1 per cent HELD

- Ancholme Cliff: STRANGE, L, Conservative, 55 per cent (1142), Down 14.4 per cent HELD

- Scotter Rural: UNDERWOOD-FROST, C, Conservative, 42 per cent (717), down 17.3 per cent HELD

- Gainsborough Hill: BEAVER, J.W, UKIP 36.5 per cent (428), up 10.1 per cent GAIN

- Gainsborough Trent: O’CONNOR, P, Liberal Democrat, 41.4 per cent (571), down 31 per cent HELD

- Gainsborough Rural South: KINCH, S.F, Conservative, 34.7 per cent (1016), down 13.8 per cent HELD

- Nettleham and Saxilby: BROCKWAY, J., Conservative, 43.7 per cent (1218), up 9.7 per cent GAIN

- Welton Rural: RAWLINS, S, Conservative 38.5 per cent (1081), down, 16.4 per cent HELD

- Bardney and Cherry Willingham: FLEETWOOD, I.G, Conservative, 32.9 per cent (846), down 18.3 per cent HELD
