Have your say

YOU can now vote for your shining stars from the world of education in this year’s Best In Schools Awards.

A voting slip will be published in this week’s Worksop Guardian - out Friday 18th May - for people to vote for the ones they have nominated over previous weeks.

A full list of nominations will be printed in the same edition of the Guardian.

So, who is the one who makes a difference, defies expectations and inspires others in and around your school? Now is the time to reward them for all their hard work!

Deserving winners will be presented with awards at a glamorous awards night this summer.

And as your local newspaper, the Guardian understands all the hard work that happens in schools around Bassetlaw.

We want to celebrate success and give recognition to those that deserve it.

Instead of using exam results and league tables to measure schools’ achievements, we will be focusing on the human side of schooling – the people and activities that change lives or put smiles on pupils’, parents’ and colleagues’ faces.

All you have to do is fill out the voting coupon and send it to the Worksop Guardian Promotions Team’s address supplied on the slip. Closing date is 12 noon on 1st June 2012.
