YOUNG school leavers from Hillcrest Community Infant School said goodbye in style with a glitzy red carpet graduation.
The Year 6 pupils got all glammed up before taking a ride in a limousine as part of a very glamorous and grown up gradation.
“It went really well,” said Dominique Osborne, “The evening was a great success for children, parents and staff.”
“We had all the parents come in and all of the children had a limo ride around the block before graduating.”
She continued: “All of the girls got a rose and everyone had the photo taken. The staff were wearing their caps and gowns so it was just like the kids were graduating from university.”
“The children did a song for the parents and the staff did a little dedication as well.”
Mrs Osbourne said it was the perfect way to say goodbye to the Year 6s.
“They have been a really nice, cheeky and bubbly year group and the parents have been really supportive too,” she said.
“All members of staff will really miss them, and we wish the children all the best for the future and at their new schools.”
