The sudden death of 21-year-old Gainsborough man Haydn Green earlier this year shocked all who knew him.
Haydn was well known and loved by many in the town and his death was a terrible tragedy.
Since that awful day in June Haydn’s family, friends, and cricket club have rallied together to ensure his name lives on.
They recently held a Haydn Green Fun Day, with money raised being used to improve Marshalls Cricket Club’s facilities for young players.
This is a fitting tribute to Haydn, and proof that sometimes good can come out of tragic circumstances.
