THE school holidays were certainly a time of fun for these children.

Youngsters put their imaginations to the test when they took part in arts and crafts events at Aston Library.

Several sessions were held to create a spring garden at the library throughout the holidays.

The activities are part of many held to encourage children to visit the library and find out what is on offer to them.

Meanwhile in Maltby, youngsters and their families turned into detectives as part of a hunt.

There were a series of clues to find, questions to answer and eggs to win as children joined in the fun at Coronation Park.

The event had been organised by Rotherham Council’s Green Spaces team to get families out in the fresh air, enjoy local facilities - and have fun.
