Around 80 Unite members have walked out on Sunday 27th July until Thursday 31st over a row over a 2.5 per cent pay offer.

A replacement bus service has been set-up from Nottingham to Worksop.

It is likely to cause disruption due to the school summer holidays starting.

A post on the East Midlands Trains website said it had put forward a ‘very reasonable and fair offer.’

It also said: “We are therefore disappointed that Unite has chosen to take this action, clearly attempting to cause disruption.”

Travellers have been advised to take extra time to plan their routes.
