POLICE found a small cannabis farm and a taser gun at a 37-year-old Worksop man’s home.

Mark Hagen, of Stilwell Gardens, admitted producing and possessing the class B drug, and possessing an electrical discharge weapon at Worksop Magistrates’ Court.

The court heard how officers executed a search warrant at his home on 2nd April 2012.

They found four large cannabis plants and four seedlings being grown, along with hydroponic equipment and the taser weapon.

David Verity, defending, said the drug was for personal pain relief and the taser was being kept for protection. Hagen was due to be sentenced yesterday (Thursday).
