GAINSBOROUGH Police have seized two mini motorbikes’ that were being ridden illegally.

Earlier this week PCSO Sarah Gibson was on patrol on her push bike in the Queen Street area when she heard the sound of a motorbike being ridden in a nearby alleyway. Due to being on her bike she was able to intercept the bike quickly, stop it and seize it.

PCSO Gibson said: “This is an ongoing issue in our area and we receive regular reports about it. We patrol the area and it is nice to be able to pass back some good news as we fight to remove this annoyance to our community.

She added: “I urge all local residents to report this behaviour as it is not acceptable and we are keen to keep on dealing with those involved. As the weather gets better we expect to receive more calls”
