THREE men who conned their way into a pensioner’s home are being hunted by police.

The conmen targeted a house on High Street, in Ordsall, just after 10am on 27th October. One of the offenders knocked at the door, claiming to be there to fix fencing as a representative from the council. He told the woman she had to watch him carry out the repairs and she followed him into the garden. But when she returned inside, she found two other men in her front room. She subsequently found other rooms had been searched, although it is not clear if anything was stolen. The suspects are described as either Asian or Pakistani, aged 30 to 40, tall, well built, and well-groomed. Witnesses are asked to contact Retford CID on 0300 300 9999 ext 807 7477 or Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
