Police called to Market St

CONCERNED residents called police to a street in Gainsborough after a man was heard causing a disturbance in his own home.

Police were called to Market Street, Gainsborough at around 12.40pm on Thursday 12th May where a 37-year-old local man was causing damage to his own flat.

A police spokesman said: “We were called to the scene after people heard a disturbance and became concerned for the man’s wellbeing.”

“Following the attendance of police, the man was then subsequently admitted to the Peter Hodgkinson Centre voluntarily.”
