A PENSIONER from Carlton has been banned from driving after being caught over double the drink-driving limit.

Michael Proctor, 65 of Dadley Road, had 70mg of alcohol in 100ml of breath when driving down Newcastle Street on 22nd April. He pleaded guilty, was banned for 20 months, and fined a total of £200.
