Police have arrested a man in connection with a copper theft that caused a power cut in Laughterton.
Officers were called to a caravan park near Laughterton at around 1.30am on Wednesday 16th February after reports that the electricity supply had failed and residents suspected thieves had stolen copper from the supply to the site.
A search of the surrounding area took place and a 20-year-old man from the Gainsborough area was arrested on suspicion on theft a short time later. He is currently helping police with their enquiries.
