Man charged with Foxby Hill van theft

A MAN from Doncaster has been charged with the theft of a van in Gainsborough.

The incident took place at around 10.48am on Monday 6th June in Foxby Hill, Gainsborough where a thief stole a white Ford Transit van.

Police attended the scene, traced the vehicle within 10 minutes and arrested 39-year-old Christopher Peace, of Burnham Grove, Doncaster, in connection with the incident.

He was questioned by officers and later charged with taking the vehicle without the consent of the owner, along with two document offences.

Peace has been released on police bail and will appear at Lincoln Magistrates Court on 15th July.
