Overall crime across the county is down by around 14 per cent according to the Quarterly report from Lincolnshire Police Commissioner Alan Hardwick.

Mr Hardwick’s Quarterly Force Performance Update (from April 2012 – January 2013) also shows that Lincolnshire Police are performing above the targets set for crime detection and that victims’ satisfaction with the service has increased to 83.2 per cent.

Lincolnshire Police now rank 16th nationally out of 43 forces for recorded crime rates.

“Overall, Force performance is good in comparison to previous years and in national rankings,” said Mr Hardwick.

“Recorded crime continues to decrease and the overall detection of crime is up.”
