ASSAULT AND THEFT

Lee Michael Hollingsworth, 24, of Waterworks Street, Gainsborough. Charged jointly with a female of assaulting Steven Slack and causing him actual bodily harm on 19th October last year before stealing £100 from him. Not guilty plea entered. Case adjourned for committal and remanded on bail until 3rd May on the condition that he does not contact Steven Slack directly or indirectly and that he does not enter Lime Tree Avenue in Gainsborough.

MOTOR OFFENCES

Michaela Denise Connors, 44, of Marshalls Rise, Gainsborough. Pleaded guilty to drink-driving on Marshall’s Rise on 18th February with 71 microgrammes of alcohol in 100 millilitres of breath. Ordered to pay victim surcharge of £20 and disqualified from holding or obtaining a driving licence for 18 months.

Samuel John Oliver, 22, of Springs Lane in Sturton-le-Steeple. Pleaded guilty to speeding down the A1133 at Laughterton, near Fenton and Gainsborough, on 10th October last year. Fined £240 and ordered to pay £24 victim surcharge and £85 in costs to Lincolnshire Police. Driving licence endorsed with five points.

Nicholas Justin Thornton, 41, of West End in Ingham. Charged with driving a Nissan at an excessive speed down Bunker’s Hill on 12th July last year. Charge proven in his absence. Fined £400 and ordered to pay £15 victim surcharge and £85 in costs. Licence endorsed with four points.

THREATS AND 
DAMAGE

Benjamin Laddie Taylor, 21, of Francis Chichester Walk, Gainsborough. Charged with damaging a door panel belonging to Craig Flear on 12th December last year, before attending an address on Riseholme Road on 15th December to threaten Michael Flear. Not guilt pleas entered for both charges. Remanded on bail until 19th June on the condition that he not contact Michael or Craig Flear or enter Pasture Road. To re-appear at Lincoln Magistrates for trial.
