A DRINK-DRIVER from Worksop, who was caught three times over the legal limit, has been banned from the road for two years and fined £500.
Darren Horsfield, 39, from Kendal Close, was stopped along Carlton Road near the Cannon pub just after 2am on 11th March.
Officers tailed him after he had narrowly missed bollards on Thievesdale Road, Worksop Magistrates’ Court heard.
At a roadside breath test he blew 93 mgs of alcohol in 100 mls of breath, but later blew 105 mgs.
The legal limit is 35 mgs.
Horsfield admitted the offence and Ms Davidson, defending, said: “He very much regrets the incident. He had been at a function and obviously had been drinking alcohol.”
He was also ordered to pay £100 in court costs.
