Armed officers on Gainsborough street after assault
Armed officers are at a street in Gainsborough after a man was assaulted.
The officers arrived at Ropery Road about 4pm in relation to an assault reported yesterday.
A 21-year-old man has been arrested in connection with the assault.
A police spokesman said: "Thank you to the local community for support and patience as we continue our investigation."
