FRAUD

Karen Dawson, 37, of Tenby Grove, Worksop. Failed to notify the department of work and pensions of a change of circumstances which would affect her entitlement to income support. Committed to prison for 10 weeks suspended for 12 months. Also ordered to pay £120 court costs and a victim surcharge of £80.

THEFT

Richard Hannah, 36, of Elton Road, Creswell. Having entered a building as a trespasser, namely Llyods Chemist, stole therein health and beauty to the value of £378.03. Committed to prison for three months suspended for 12 months. Also ordered to pay £378.03 in compensation.

Jonathan Williams, 35, of Walker Close, New Ollerton, admitted stealing razors from Asda worth £32 and was fined £80 and made to pay £105 in costs.

MOTORING

Muhammed Tasci, 21, of Kilton Hill, Worksop. Drove a motor vehicle without insurance. Drove whilst not wearing an adult seat belt. Driving record endorsed with six points. Fined £660. Also ordered to pay court costs of £85 and a victim surcharge of £66.

Maria Costagliola, 33, of Cross Street, Langold. Speeding. Driving record endorsed with three points. Fined £40. Also ordered to pay £85 in court costs and a £20 victim surcharge.

Emily Shepherd, 26, of High Road, Carlton-in-Lindrick. Speeding. Driving record endorsed with three points. Fined £60. Also ordered to pay £85 in court costs and a £20 victim surcharge.

Leslie Beckett, 57, of Duke Street, Creswell. Speeding. Driving record endorsed with four points. Fined £80. Also ordered to pay court costs of £85 and a £20 victim surcharge.

Peter Lawrence, 25, of Claters Close, Retford. Drove a motor vehicle while using a hand-held mobile telephone. Driving record endorsed with three points. Fined £220. Also ordered to pay £85 in court costs and a £25 victim surcharge.
