Lincoln Castle is looking for new volunteers from across the county to help make it the place to visit in 2016.

Volunteers are needed for a wide range of varied and challenging roles, in what promises to be another exciting year for the popular attraction.

They are particularly keen to hear from people with an interest in Magna Carta, with prospective volunteers being invited to an insightful training session by the Friends of Lincoln Castle.

Kimberley Vickers, site manager, said: “Our volunteers play a vital role, helping make sure that each and every one of our visitors has an exciting and memorable day.

“You’ll be out across the site, offering visitors a warm welcome and bringing the story of this historic site to life for them.

“So if you’re a friendly and enthusiastic person and would like to be a part of our fantastic team, please get in touch.”
