COMMUNITY: Ninety Years of Misterton History
Misterton & West Stockwith History Group is looking for photos of events in the village over the past 90 years (or thereabouts).
The intention is to show the village’s history during the lifetime of HM Queen Elizabeth 2, which will be exhibited during the weekend of celebrations of her official birthday on Sunday, June 12.
If anyone has pictures from the first or second world wars, jubilee celebrations, events to mark the millennium, opening events, or other key activities, get in touch with local historian, David Seymour (tel: 890936).
Photos, cuttings, etc may also be left for David at The Misterton Centre.
