COMMUNITY: Beckingham Gardeners' Club

At their meeting on Monday, May 16, members welcomed their speaker Jeanette Merilion, who gave a fascinating insight into a Calendar of Colour.

Jeanette is a garden designer and historian. She has been on television several times and also travels the world on cruise ships doing conducted garden tours.

Future events for the club are: June 20 - visit to The Elms, Main Street, North Leverton DN22 0AR.

July 18, Bolham Manor, Bolham, Retford DN22 9JG; Japanese Garden, North Clifton NG23 7AT. All visits start at 7pm.

The club will be holding their annual flower and vegetable show on Saturday, September 17, in Beckingham Church, visitors will be very welcome.
