A GROUP of 50 Bassetlaw bowlers raised more than £750 for charity at a tournament in Norfolk.

Bassetlaw Indoor Bowls Club travelled to Potters Leisure Resort at Hopton-On-Sea.

Over three days players challenged teams from Lincolnshire and Norfolk to four matches.

A fund raising raffle was held after each match in support of the club’s chosen charities - Macmillan and Bassetlaw Hospice.

“We are grateful for the 108 raffle prizes which were donated by local businesses and bowls brands Thomas Taylor and Henselite,” said tour organiser Charles Emsen.

Over the last three bowling weekends the club has raised £2,100 for good causes.
