Bill Bailey has announced a show in Scunthorpe

CRAZY comedy antics are on the cards as bearded TV funny man Bill Bailey has announced a show in Scunthorpe.

Bill Bailey officially opened The Baths Hall in November 2011 with a sold-out show – but now he’s announced his return to Scunthorpe for two nights on Friday 11th and Saturday 12th October.

The comedian rose to fame when he starred in the likes of Black Books and Never Mind The Buzzcocks, and through appearances on QI, Have I Got News For You and much more - but he’s been wowing audiences with his stand-up skills for many, many years. His brand new show Qualmpeddler has the all classic Bill Bailey elements, trademark musical mash-ups, multi-lingual riffs, films, songs, philosophizing and silliness on a grand scale...plus one amazing owl.

A spokesman said: “Bill Bailey had doubts about the modern world, but these have now grown into qualms.”

“He will be channeling these feelings of unease and apprehension, with the help of religious dubstep, his folk bouzouki, Horntallica, a re-appraisal of some of the world¹s greatest works of art and perhaps a dub version of Downton Abbey.”

“Bill looks at the consequences of lies, the unending search for the Higgs and the hiding skills of dentists. Bill tries to confront his cluster-qualm of living in a time of spectacular ignorance, nuclear worry, rare planetary alignment and Spice Girl reunions that may be part of the Mayan End of Days prophecy.”

“Come savour this broth of anxiety with Bill Bailey Qualmpeddler.

Tickets for both shows are £25 and are available by calling 0844 8542776 or by visiting www.bathshall.co.uk
