A CONCERT in Maltby has raised £700 for a charity and a church.

The concert at the Full Life Church was organised by Maltby Town councillor Keith Stringer.

It featured the Ancient Brettons and was hailed a huge success.

Coun Stringer said the money will be shared equally between the Rotherham branch of the National Autistic Society (NAS) and the Full Life Church. And last week he handed over cheques for £350 to a representative from the NAS and the church.

Coun Stringer also thanked the Tesco Community Champions who provided refreshments at the concert free of charge.
