Ministers, supporteres and friends have celebrated the refurbishment of the old schoolroom at Carlton-in-Lindrick Methodist Church.
The builders handed over the keys at a special opening and dedication ceremony.
It was decided in 2008 to have a major refurbishment of the schoolroom to become a multi-purpose community building.
Methodists have been worshipping in cottages in Carlton since the early 19th century.
The first service in the Chapel was in 1862.
There is a Spring Fayre on Saturday 24th May from 10am to 12 and a talk by George Buchanan ‘Growing up in Hodsock’ followed by a cream tea on Wednesday 11th June at 2pm.
