Car abandoned in Scrooby linked to Bawtry robbery

A car abandoned in Scrooby is being linked to a robbery in Bawtry.

At 9.40am on Wednesday 12th June, police received reports of a robbery at Robinsons of Bawtry on South Parade.

Officers believe that four men entered the shop and stole a large amount of designer clothing. One of the men was believed to have been carrying a knife.

The four men are believed to have left the scene in a beige Renault Laguna, registration plate S679 RKG, which is believed to been recently purchased from Batley, West Yorkshire.

The car was then later found abandoned in Scrooby.
