Captain’s Column: Surprise, surprise folks

WHO’D have thought a former BNP member would be up in court for showing signs of racism?

Last week’s page one blasted Gainsborough’s Darren J Conway, of Heaton Street, for the 17 racist posters he displayed in his front window.

Conway was also caught growing cannabis in his flat.

Where did he find the time, that’s what I want to know?

The court listed a series of grossly offensive guff he scrawled on these posters, but no details were given on the quality of his craft skills.

It’d take me weeks to make 17 posters, no matter what the content was. Sometimes it takes me a week just to fill this page.

On a serious note, thank goodness the courts have made an example of him to underline this kind of behaviour is totally unacceptable.
