WHEN I spotted this vac-packed BMW on Bridge Street I assumed there’d been some kind of mix up.
Perhaps someone grabbed the cling-film and headed off to work with their sandwiches coated in car wax?
What is the owner thinking?
Surely this is taking dust protection to the extreme?
I know some people like to protect the cars from hotting up too much in the fine weather but all these layers of plastic would make any unlucky occupant melt.
With the topsy-turvy weather we’ve been having perhaps the cautious owner is aiming to protect against snow? Either way it caused more than a few raised eyebrows as I walked by.
The most obvious explanation is this is some kind of clever anti-theft devise.
Presumably it’d take a pair of kitchen scissors and half a day to get into the vehicle.
