GOLF GIANT Ping look set to open their new building at their headquarters off Corringham Road in a few months.

The ambitious new development is scheduled for completion in March or April - with company bosses saying that the exciting expansion ‘will create jobs’.

The project includes a bespoke, two-storey office incorporating a central hub building which will connect the new office with the existing building and serve as an employee social area with restaurant, lounge and IT facilities.

Managing Director of PING Europe Limited John Clark said he was thrilled.

“The development is a strong statement about Ping’s sustained growth for many years and our expectation of more growth to come over future years,” he said.

“We now employee over 150 people, of which about 130 come from the local area. We expect this to increase gradually as further growth is achieved.”

He continued: “It is a strong statement that Ping sees its future in this town. That will be good for jobs and good for the people of Gainsborough.”

“The local community supports Ping, and Ping helps the local community through sponsorship, such as Gainsborough Trinity, and donations to worthy causes from our annual Charity Golf Day, such as Primary School Breakfast Clubs, Gainsborough House and St Barnabas Hospice.”

John added: “If we continue to grow then further development will be necessary.”
