St John Ambulance is offering Lincolnshire construction companies the chance to reduce workplace accidents.

They are offering first aid training courses specifically tailored for the construction industry.

The course, regulated by the Health and Safety Executive, aims to reduce the number of major workplace injuries. There were 2,500 last year alone.

The HSE recommends at least one fully qualified first aider for every 50 employees and two fire marshals in every designated area.

Training can be on the client’s site or in one of 35 St John Ambulance training centres throughout the region. Call 0844 3245535 or visit www.sja.org.uk/training
