A POPULAR Retford comedian will return to his home town for the annual pantomime at the Majestic Theatre.

Bobby Dazzler played his first ever panto performance many years ago at the Majestic with Retford Amateur Dramatics Society.

And from 4th - 8th January 2013 he’s back to play Buttons in Cinderella.

“To get the local support from old school friends, family and anyone who knows me will be fantastic,” said Bobby.

“Cinderella is probably the greatest panto of them all. And the Buttons character has the pathos of laughter and sadness. He gets all the kids in his gang, it’s fun and mayhem all the way.”

“I will also add in a few of my own bits and routines.”

Bobby said the panto promises to be ‘power packed’, with Sue Hodge (Allo Allo) as Fairy Godmother, Helen Bates (Bid TV) as Cinderella, and Nasty Nick from Big Brother as one of the ugly sisters.

The panto starts in Skegness at the Embassy Theatre from the 14th to 31st December 2012, before coming to Retford from the 4th to the 8th January 2013.

Bobby is currently appearing in Channel 4’s hit show Shameless. And his latest TV appearance was on the popular Sky TV programme Cruising With The Stars.

Bobby now lives in Northampton with his partner Yvette Fielding.
