Blyton: Injured driver cut free from overturned car

Firefighters cut a man free from an overturned car on the A159 near Blyton this morning (Monday 3rd February 2014).

Crews from Gainsborough and Kirton In Lindsey fire stations were called to the scene at 6.38am.

They found the car had left the road and landed on its roof in a hedge.

Firefighters used cutting gear to release the man and make the vehicle safe.

He was taken to hospital by ambulance.
