Biker injured in hit-and-run crash near Gainsborough
A motorcyclist was injured after being struck by a hit-and-run driver near Gainsborough.
Police are appealing for witnesses to the collision between a green VW and a motorbike just after 7am on Tuesday, December 6 on the A159 into Gainsborough from Blyton.
The motorcyclist was knocked off his bike at the Morton and Belt Road crossroads and the driver of a green VW golf failed to stop at the scene.
The vehicle headed in the direction of the golf course.
The motorcyclist sustained minor injuries in the collision.
Police are appealing for anyone that saw the collision or the green VW Golf to call 101.
