A DRINK-DRIVER from Worksop has been banned from the road for 40 months after police caught him three times over the legal limit to drive.
John Allison, 51, from Carlton Road, admitted to driving a Vauxhall Astra on Pelham Street on 8th July.
Worksop Magistrates’ Court heard how Allison staggered and fell against the side of the car when police officers stopped him.
He gave a reading of 95mcgs of alcohol in 100mls of breath. The legal limit is 35mcgs.
He was also caught without a licence and without insurance.
Magistrates handed him a 12-month community order with supervision, a 10-week curfew from 8pm-6.30am and fined £85.
