Anston: F1 driver Jenson Button pays tribute to Karl Harris

A former Formula One world champion has paid tribute to an Anston man who died when he crashed at the Isle of Man TT races on Tuesday afternoon.

Karl Harris, 34, a three-time British Supersport Champion, was killed during the Superstock Race at the event on 3rd June.

He crashed in an area known as Joey’s Corner during his final lap of the 37.5 mile Mountain Circuit.

F1 star and McLaren driver Jenson Button took to social media site Twitter to express his sadness.

He said: “Another legend lost to the isle of Man TT.”

“My thoughts are with all of Karl bomber Harris’s family and friends at this difficult time.”
