GAINSBROUGH residents living near Holme Walk and Theaker Avenue are invited to have their say on proposals to revitalise a patch of land near their homes.
GAINSBROUGH residents living near Holme Walk and Theaker Avenue are invited to have their say on proposals to revitalise a patch of land near their homes.

Gainsborough housing association Acis Group want to hear your views on plans to create a pla
y area on the vacant site off Holme Walk.

A meeting is to be held to talk through the proposal, which is at its initial stages, in the Community Room at Whites Wood Lane School on Monday 13 October between 2pm and 3pm.

Acis area housing manager Erica Watkins said the land was currently unused and needed to be improved for the whole community to use.

"Proposals include turning it into a play area with sporting facilities and play equipment," she said.

"However, we would really like to hear from people in the neighbourhood to find out exactly what they would like to see. The views of local residents are vital for this project to succeed."

Acis is working with Gainsborough Town Council, Lincolnshire Police and Gainsborough Stakeholder network to get these plans off the ground.

Anyone living in the neighbourhood is welcome to go along to the meeting on Monday 13th October.

Further information about the meeting can be found by calling Erica Watkins on 01427 675836.
